Highland Adventure Tours facilitated one of the best days of our three week trip. Michael (owner), George (guide) and Ronald (driver) were the best of the best and we were sad to not have booked more with them. We booked a private whale shark and canyoneering tour and spent from 4am - 6pm with these folks. The whale sharks were majestic and this was a once in a lifetime experience. We read plenty of reviews before and knew to expect large crowds and long lines. It was smoother and faster than expected and Ronald was with us every step of the way. It was such a perk to have a trusted companion / car to leave our personal belongings with. Canyoneering was by far the best adventure tour we have ever done. The number of “wows” and “this is the best day ever” was in the dozens. George was clearly a professional and knew his stuff. It was our first time doing anything like this. He guided us through every jump with confidence and knowledge of the situation and where any challenges or safety hazards may be. He patiently captured us on our GoPro as we went. He picked up every piece of garbage along our trail. He was friends with just about every person we met along the way. He was one of the only guides showing how to maneuver each level and gave us such personalized attention the entire 4 hours. There’s a stop halfway to get barbecue skewers (bring pesos!!) so we stopped to eat and George spent the break helping other adventurers jump the biggest/most challenging cliff jump of the trail, whose guides were much more hands-off. At the next stop, he bought us each a Puto (Rice cake) to snack on (no promises he’ll do this again, but so sweet he did it for us) We told him we loved him and we meant it!!! There are a lot of vendors you can book to guide you through the falls but please trust me when I say that witnessing how they worked with each customer, NONE of them compared to Highland Adventure and George. When/if you go to Pangsama beach you will see a lot of people selling tours, some of which may even appear cheaper initially, but 1) you get what you pay for and 2) ultimately after every up-charge and additional hidden fee, the tours ended up costing close to the same. Also, a lot of those vendors don’t guide them yourself but outsource you to another company. Once they’ve taken your money, they can no longer guarantee the experience since it’s “out of their hands” Book directly with Michael at Highland Adventure tour and you won’t regret it! Oh, and if it couldn’t get any better, lunch after was *delicious* and we so appreciated Michael’s kind offer to share some drinks with us at the end. Michael, George and Roland - you’ve left a big impression on us. We can’t wait to come back and bring all our friends next time. WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Did the Kawasan Falls canyoning tour with a family of 5 (age 16 to 46). Absolute highlight of our holiday. Zipline experience at start isn't included-500PHP extra but the ride is recommended (&shortens the walk in from 40min to 10min). Kawasan is VERY popular. Expect a constant flow of tour groups down the gorge. HAT staff recommended earliest possible start (from 6am) and weekday tour due to crowds. Wear runners for traction. Highest canyon jump is 2nd stage of Kawasan Falls at 14m. All jumps but the smallest 1-2m have a ”walk down” option if you're unsure. Note that the falls are easy to visit as a self-driving option, but the lowest/3rd stage of the falls are very commercialized and busy. I VERY much recommend the guided tour.

Had a superb experience with Highland Adventures for a group of 7 in June 2019. Efficient and seamless process from transportation, to payment and arrangement for multiple activities. Overall, we had a blast with great interaction with the friendly local guides! Would highly recommend if you're planning a trip to Cebu soon!!

Great guys who went above and beyond to make sure had a great day and great photos, would highly recommend. You go on the back of a motorbike to get from their place to the canyon but if your fine with that it’s amazing

Fantastic adventure tour in Moalboal. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Very responsive via WhatsApp and Google Chat. They helped us arrange transfer to Cebu city as well. The adobo we got for lunch on our all day tour was delicious. Would recommend to anyone wanting to hike around or do the cannyonning.

We had a wonderful experience with Highland Adventures. We took the 1 day package tour good for 10 people. They arranged the pick up and drop off (Cebu-Moalboal and vice versa) at a very reasonable rate. We had Kuya Noli and Kuya Ruben as our guide for the canyoneering. We have nothing but praises for Kuya Noli who was an expert at taking pics and videos and for taking care of my 6 year old daughter. Kuya Noli carried my daughter going to and coming back from Kawasan Falls, keeping her entertained all the time! We loved the complimentary meal at the falls,the humba was so delicious! We would not hesitate again to book our tour with them if ever we come back to Moalboal. Thank you again!!

We had the most amazing time on this tour! Truly one of the best tours we've been on during our entire holiday. We went to see the whale sharks, sardine run & canyoneering at Kawasan Falls. Each activity left such an impression that even now, we still cant decide which is our favourite. What made this tour special and sets it apart from other tours we've been to was the SUPER friendly team at highland adventures. Not only did these guys made the adventure so fun, they were sooo helpful. We had sooooo many amazing videos from all the different activities - it was like we had a personal cameraman for the entire day. Had a wonderful time!! We signed up for the 2 day tour of Badian, Pescador Island for sea turtles and sardine run on day 1 and Oslob/ Osmena Peak/Sumilon on day 2. The canyoneering was so amazing. Kawasan falls was beautiful but if you do this tour you get to see the falls and so much more! Its quite a lot of trekking on uneven wet surfaces so you need to be in decent shape. Our guide was very helpful in this and if theres a rock you dont wanna jump off he provided an alternative route . Highly recommend it. The snorkeling was breath taking as well. We saw thousands upon thousands of sardines, beautiful coral and a sea turtle up close! Our guide was wonderful. Unfortunately my husband came down with a tummy bug so we weren't able to complete the tour day 2. They did offer to reschedule or provide transport from Moalboal to the airport. We already had transportation arranged and were leaving the following day so instead got a refund for the tour fees for the missed day. Wonderful experience!
