Oslob Whale Sharks Watching Fees

NOTICE TO ALL WHALE SHARKS WATCHERS

Effective March 21, 2025, the Municipality of Oslob shall revert the Whale Sharks Watching Fees to its original rates as provided in Municipal Ordinance No. 010, series of 2020.

Whale Shark Watching Fees:

  • Foreign Tourist (non-Philippines Passport Holder) – P1,000 per person
  • Local/Filipino Tourist (Philippines Passport Holder) – P500 per person

The prices published on our website are based on Local Tourist. Therefore, Foreign Tourists will be charged an additional P500 per person.

After careful consideration of the RISING FUEL PRICES due to Middle East tensions, we regret to inform you that we will be implementing a TEMPORARY Fuel Surcharge on our TOURS and TRANSPORT SERVICES starting March 16, 2026. The surcharge will be computed based on the Trip Distance (based on Goggle Maps) divided by 10 km (1 liter per 10 km fuel efficiency) multiplied by the current fuel price increase.
Fuel Price Increase (Effective March 17, 2026):
  • Diesel: ₱20.40–₱23.90 per liter
  • Gasoline: ₱12.90–₱16.60 per liter
Example Tour: Badian Kawasan Canyoneering Adventure Day Tour
  • Surcharge Computation: Total Trip Distance / 10 * Fuel Price Increase
  • Pickup & Drop off Location: Cebu City
  • Destination: Highland Adventure Tours
  • One Way Distance: 103 km  |  Round Trip Distance: 206 km
  • 206 km / 10 km = 20.6 km x P20.40 = P420.24 surcharge (Diesel Car)
  • 206 km / 10 km = 20.6 km x P12.90 = P265.74 surcharge (Gasoline Car)
